February will be a great month for missions emphasis. On Feb. 16-19, we will take a group to Grace Life Church of the Shoals for the annual, True Church Conference. This church, which is the sponsor church for Grace Life Senatobia is located in the northwest corner of the state of Alabama and has about 1,000 active members. Jeff Noblit is the Senior Pastor for preaching. For more than two decades God has been blessing Grace Life Church in reforming both its policies and procedures to become more biblically healthy. This conference has been a catalyst for church planting and missions. The theme of this year’s conference is “The Lordship of Christ.” The preachers this year will be: Arturo Azurdia, David Prince, David Miller, Jeff Noblit, Jonathan Sims and Seth Channel. The next week, Great Commission Church located in Olive Branch, Mississippi, will host it’s annual, “Great Commission Conference” Feb. 24-26th. Missionaries and church planters from around the world will share about what God is doing. This year’s preachers are: Trevor Davis, Jeff Nobit, Wade Humphries, Josh Tancordo and Mike Curry. Chris Twilley, church planter for Grace Life Senatobia, will give a report in the 11:15 am worship service. There is also a kid’s conference called “The Great Adventure” in which children will get to interact with church planters and learn about their cultures through crafts and special snacks. What a privilege to be in on the Great Commission. Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:18). May Christ’s name be exalted among the nations.
