2nd Timothy on Sundays, “What we believe” on Wednesday Nights.

We are so thankful to announce that Grace Life of Senatobia began Worship Services on Easter Sunday.   This begins the next phase in the life of our church plant.  God is so faithful and has grown our core group over the last two years and we are taking this step of faith to follow Him.

Our weekly Worship Services will happen each Sunday morning at 11:00 am at the Senatobia Library.  We will meet to sing praise songs and Hymns, pray as a corporate body, give to the Lord’s work and hear the Word of God preached.  We will start our weekly services with a series of expository messages through the book of 2 Timothy.  Each week we will hear a different passage in this great book as we fulfill the charge from Scripture to “Preach the Word” (2 Timothy 4:2).

On Wednesday nights at 6 PM, we will consider “What we believe.”  What do we believe about the Trinity: God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit?  What about do we believe about creation? What does the Bible teach about The Gospel and Salvation (Regeneration, Justification, Sanctification, Glorification).  Can a person lose their salvation?  What about Grace and Eternal Security of the believer?  What do we believe about the Family? As we study each doctrine we will look at the statements in the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message .

What has led us to this point?

In the fall of 2016, a group of believers began to meet on Wednesday nights.  The focus of these meetings was to study the Bible together (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and to pray for one another (James 5:16).  Throughout these two years, we went through an evangelism training course twice.  Times were planned to go into the community to share the Gospel.  The Lord has blessed and we have seen eight people profess faith in Jesus Christ by being baptized.  Currently our core group is around 30 adults, teens and children who meet weekly.

We are so thankful for those who have encouraged us from the very beginning, most notably being our sponsor church, Grace Life of the Shoals in Muscle Shoals, Al , Anchored in Truth, a Missions organization involved in church planting throughout the World and Great Commission Church in Olive Branch, MS

Our goal for Grace Life is not to be a traditional church or a contemporary church.  We don’t want to be identified by labels as they relate to Worship styles, family or doctrine.  While we have a specific confessional statement, (The 2000 Baptist Faith and Message),  denominational identification is not our primary identity.  Our goal is to be a Christ Centered Church.   Colossians 1:18, in speaking of Christ, says, “That in all things, He might have the preeminence.”

We realize that church planting is a marathon race and not a sprint, therefore we are keeping in mind a 20 year vision for the Lord to grow and to mature us.  Our goal and purpose from day one is to be Christ centered.  We can seek to always have this focus no matter how small or large our numbers may be or whatever form our specific ministries take.

We invite you to come and grow with us as we grow in the Lord.
